125th Year Celebrations

2024 is a very special year for us. It is our 125th birthday! We have not been known as NBBC for very long but we have been playing bowls on the Copers Cope Road site since 1899.

To mark this achievement we have organised a number of events that will be taking place this year. The first of these was an invitation triples competition playing 6 clubs that we play regularly in either Mens, Ladies or mixed matches. It took place and a great time was had by all on a lovely sunny afternoon in June. Please have a look at a selection of pictures below.

Presidents Day 2024

Whilst we hold a Presidents Day every year, this year it was definitely part of the 125th Anniversary celebrations. Led by Club President John Moore but with able support on the organisational and catering fronts, a great after of Triples was played. The matches took the form of two leagues with the net score winners competing in a final match. A great day was had by all.
